AMSTERDAM - Dutch experts confirmed on Wednesday, 24, the authenticity of a picture of 1886 attributed to the Impressionist master Vincent Van Gogh, the museum Fundatie, the Dutch city of Zwolle.
The work is an oil of 55 cm by 38 cm, with the title "El Molino Le Blute-Fin," and contains references to Montmartre, a place known by the meeting of great artists in the French capital.
The painting was purchased in 1975 by the then director of the museum Boyman of Rotterdam, Dirk Hannema, which operated from the beginning that this is a work of Van Gogh (1853-1890).
Investigations on the authenticity of the painting began in 2007, experts from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, and the painting is part of the season more colorful Parisian painter.
